Passion Unlocked: Bala’s Story
A Journey of Discovery
In 2010, AtoZ Educational Services was founded under unexpected circumstances during the final year of my Master’s Degree in Business Management. A close friend, whose family had recently relocated to the UK from France, approached me for assistance as her children, whose first language was French, were struggling to adapt to a new language and school environment. She sought my help to guide them through the 11+ Examination and provide additional tuition. Initially, I was hesitant to accept this request, as I was deeply focused on completing my Master’s degree and did not initially consider this as my area of expertise, I hesitated to take on the challenge.
However, my friend’s continued persistence eventually led me to agree to support her children in their 11+ preparation, marking the beginning of AtoZ Educational Services. That experience proved to be a turning point for me. I quickly discovered a natural aptitude for teaching, and the fulfilment I found in working with young children drew me deeply into the profession. This newfound passion was further validated when both of my friend’s children successfully secured places in grammar schools. From that moment, the path forward became clear. What began as an unexpected journey has evolved into our mission: to provide exceptional educational support and guidance to children. The rest, as they say, is history.

Our Mission
To provide a nurturing, safe, and engaging educational environment for children aged 9 to 11 years.
We accomplish this by:
- Creating a secure and stimulating environment that guarantees equal opportunities for all children, irrespective of race, culture, religion, gender, special needs, or medical requirements.
- Delivering education to 9 to 11-year-olds using our specially developed, unique methods designed to provide the highest level of learning and success in the 11+ Examinations.
- Focusing on the individual development of each pupil’s knowledge and intellectual growth.
By adhering to our mission, we strive to realise our vision of becoming an internationally accredited leader in the provision of primary educational services.

AtoZ 10th Year Special Celebrations and Annual Prize Giving Event 2022
The year 2022 has been particularly significant for us, marking over a decade of dedicated support for children preparing for Grammar School Entrance Examinations. As always, our AtoZ students have made us immensely proud with their outstanding achievements in 2022.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all our students for their exceptional achievements in this, our 10th consecutive year. Mr. Bala Sivaraman possesses extensive teaching experience in both primary and secondary education sectors, consistently producing exceptional results. His ultimate goal is to ensure that all his students achieve their true potential. His passion for teaching is exemplified by his high success rate in grammar school entrance examinations. With Mr. Bala Sivaraman, students are in capable hands; moreover, his entire team is sincere, systematic, and committed to delivering success.

Mr. Attar Beeharry comes from a family of engineers and educators and has extensive experience in tutoring secondary Maths and Physics. Over the years, he has consistently achieved exceptional results by making lessons both engaging and informative. Since joining AtoZ Educational Services in 2017, Mr. Attar Beeharry has worked closely with Mr. Bala Sivaraman in administering Year 5 Paper Classes. From 2019 onwards, he has managed Year 4 Paper Classes in collaboration with other teachers. Currently, he leads Year 4 and Year 5 Maths classes under the guidance of Mr. Bala Sivaraman.

With a family background in accounting and a strong passion for mathematics, Mrs Sapna Chaudhary pursued a Master’s degree in Commerce. She has over 10 years of experience in the education sector and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children. Since joining AtoZ Educational Services in April 2021, she has been working alongside Mr. Attar Beehary in Year 4 Maths sessions and plays a key role in administering Year 5 Paper Classes with Mr. Bala Sivaraman.

Mr. Nicholas Edwards brings over 10 years of experience as a primary school teacher, having taught across year groups from Year 2 to Year 6 in schools throughout South East London. In addition to his teaching role, he has also provided private tutoring, helping children improve their confidence and understanding of core English and Mathematical principles. He joined AtoZ Educational Services in 2023 with the mission of helping as many children as possible succeed in their 11+ exam preparation. He currently administers Year 4 English classes alongside Mrs. Gowri and also leads the Year 4 Paper Classes.

She began her career as an IT consultant, bringing with her 11 years of experience in IT training, customer service, and human resource management. Additionally, she plays a key role in administering the Year 5 Paper Classes alongside the AtoZ team.

She began her career as a Secretary to a Medical Director, providing support and liaising with high-profile clients, including celebrities and royalty from around the world. She later transitioned to a well-known advertising and media organisation, where she took on various roles, primarily focusing on administration, sales, and customer service. She joined AtoZ Educational Services in May 2021 and currently administers both Year 4 and Year 5 Paper Classes.

Additionally, she plays an integral role in administering Year 4 Paper Classes with Mr. Bala Sivaraman and Mr. Attar Beeharry.
